CPA Jeff Gitau is a visionary leader, intentional about helping organizations thrive by supporting their strategic decisions through financial analysis and reporting. With over 20 years in financial advisory, internal and external audits, internal controls, and accounting, CPA Gitau has developed solid experiences in auditing and assurance, taxation, training, and development as well as business process outsourcing. Having interacted with organizations to understand their pain points and design bespoke solutions, Gitau demonstrates his ability and commitment to listen and be a trusted partner towards success.

Over the years, CPA Gitau has served clients in the corporate and Not-for-Profit sectors, supporting them with evolving tax matters, regulatory and international financial reporting standards, and provisions within the Companies act. In addition, he has represented clients in complex tax audits and at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. In 2011, he founded Geoffrey Gitau and Co., an auditing and business advisory firm that delivers quality, accurate and timely services. The firm currently serves both local and international clients in the Not-for-Profit, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Construction, Professional Services, and Retail Sectors. Through his leadership, the team has grown to provide useful insight, reveal problematic areas on finances and operations, and recommend areas of improvement. CPA Gitau’s passion and alacrity to support organizations to optimize their financial systems and operations influences his team’s performance and unwavering commitment to clients’ success.

Gitau is a Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Internal Auditors. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and is currently serving in several Boards, including Rotary District 9212 Finance Committee (covering Kenya, Ethiopia, Eretria, and South Sudan).
